Lauren Mullinder

Lauren Mullinder is a local Adelaide illustrator. After studying graphic design & illustration at UniSA, she worked in the health and advertising industries for 8 years, before setting out and working as a full-time illustrator in 2016. Her passions are art and education, and she loves working with people to develop fun and engaging images that tell a story.

After illustrating her first picture book, which came out in early 2017, she discovered her love of interacting and engaging with children through presentations and workshops, and teaching them a love of self-expression through art.

When she's not working or talking about illustration, Lauren loves to get outside and spend time in nature - from hiking, to gardening and as an enthusiastic volunteer at the Adelaide Botanic Gardens Little Sprouts Kitchen garden program.

Lauren is currently working on two new picture books that are due for launch in late 2018.
